QUESTIONS FROM PARENTS

Good to know before you go.

  • The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends a first visit when the first tooth appears or by the first birthday. Early visits help children get comfortable and give parents a head start on prevention.

  • We move at your child’s pace. A typical visit includes time to settle in, a gentle exam, cleaning when appropriate, and a conversation about brushing, diet, development, and any questions you have.

  • We participate with many major PPO dental plans. Benefits and network status can vary by employer and plan, so our team will help you verify coverage before treatment.

  • Yes. Options may include nitrous oxide, conscious sedation, and IV sedation with an anesthesiologist. Dr. Brian will review your child’s health, comfort, and treatment needs before recommending an appropriate option.

  • Call us as soon as possible for a toothache, injury, swelling, or a knocked-out tooth. If your child has trouble breathing, uncontrolled bleeding, or a serious head injury, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
